Gel or Filler?
« on: September 22, 2011, 07:01:59 PM »
Hi all. I'm new here as a member but have been looking on as a guest for quite a while. I've been using Gel and activator to repair alloys but having trouble getting hold of it reliably. My question is to those of you who have used both. Which is best and if the answer is filler, which filler is best?

Ok here goes when i use gel ( thick super glue )  i will buy from various sources including builders/window companies its all the same imho .  For filler i use a specific alloy wheel filler from alloywheelpaints and also a combination of gel and ground aluminum from innotec for a bit more strength and build as required . Hope that helps .
