Newbie looking to get into Smart Repair
« on: March 09, 2011, 05:54:35 PM »
Hi Folks

I've been seriously looking at getting into your industry and, having discounted all the franchises, I have narrowed things down to two possible training facilities - Smart Express and Paint Technics.

My preference would be to include valeting and detailing as part of the service which is pushing me towards Paint Technics.

I'm really after advice here - does anyone have experience of these companies? Should I be doing this at all? What are my pitfalls when starting out?

Opening a real can of worms here and setting myself up to be shot down in flames I'm sure but I could really do with as much guidance as possible before taking the plunge out of my comfort zone!

Thanks
