GETTING IN WITH DEALERSHIPS

Hi im new to this just signed up, been running my own car cosmetics business for 1 yr now, i do SSR sprayless scratch repair, interior repairs and textured bumpers etc, anyone got any input on how to get in with new dealerships and other garages, how do you approach them and do you do return visits by just turning up, i started with a fair amount of garages but then went quiet, im not sure whether to wait for phone calls or just cold call, as i said before new to all this. Would appriciate any help

My honest opinion if your not getting work from them is to turn up and just say im in the area and just thought i would drop in see if you have any work for me ?
How you getting on with the ssr ?
I do ssr in nottm but of late i had lots of jobs for it but the results were abit hit or miss some good results and some bad so i tend to just sell it if im doing other work (dent repairs)....

Thanks for getting back, i will try what you said. Do you drop in on new clients to try and pick up new work? As for the SSR system yes i do get varied results, sometimes a repair you think wont be repaired does and vice versa. I try to stay away from silver and white as almost impossible to do, i get alot of dark colours but i do get the odd garage that gets me in for a deep scratch that you just cannot get out but they just want to save money, does not matter how many times you tell them it will not repair it they still insist on giving it ago.
